Child tries to capture enormous pet in new children’s book
Natasha M. Bickle announces publication of debut book ‘My Pet Moon’
SIMI VALLEY, Calif. – One curious boy named Billy : sets off on an adventure to see if he can acquire an outrageous pet: the moon. As he dreams of bringing the moon back to Earth, it all appears to be fine, until Billy notices many things have changed on Earth. Divided between his new best friend and the people he loves at home, Billy must decide what is best for everyone.

“My Pet Moon” was originally created by author Natasha M. Bickle for her son to learn how to share with others. The book is also about learning how to be aware of the effects one’s actions have on people and not just caring about oneself.

“The story of ‘My Pet Moon’ will spark passionate conversations between parents and children, and allows for many teachable moments,” Bickle says. “(It) will provide the tools to help families instill independent problem solving skills in their children that will ensure them to make positive decisions in society today.”

An excerpt from “My Pet Moon”:
It would take a whole day and a half, in a super-speedy rocket ship. Do you think you can spend a whole day and a half in a super-speedy rocket ship?
